Last December 16 was held at the headquarters of FivMadrid a news conference devoted to women without a male partner, organized by Masole and FivMadrid. The conference addressed both the medical, psychological and experiences of single mothers. In this sense, Rosa Teacher, responsible for web Masole (Single Mothers by Choice), has shared his rich experience as a single mother by choice. For his part, Dr. Maria Angeles Manzanares FivMadrid presented the status of the issue in assisted reproduction treatments. Finally, the psychologist Giuliana Baccino of FivMadrid presented and discussed the emotional aspects derived from assisted reproductive techniques in women without a male partner. The meeting ended after an interesting discussion where attendees had the opportunity to submit, review and resolve any questions they had on the subject. Given the event's success and interest expressed by the audience, the conference will be repeated in early 2011.
