These are the jobs that FivMadrid presented at the conference:
Authors: JL Gomez Palomares, Andrew Criado L, Acevedo Martin B, Chavez M, Manzanares MA, Romero R, Ricciarelli E, Hernandez ER.
This study is a pioneer in demonstrating that if at the end of the cycle of stimulation is administered GnRH analog instead of HCG, overstimulation does not happen and besides, this is independent of hormone levels.
incidence of congenital malformations in children born AFTER triptorelin final oocyte maturation in cycles of oocyte donation.
Authors: Gomez Palomares JL, Sanchez M, Acevedo-Martin B, Chavez M, Manzanares MA, Romero R, Hernandez ER, Ricciarelli E.
This study has found that the incidence of malformations in newborns of oocyte donation cycles in which ovulation was induced with GnRHa, it implies an additional risk compared to other assisted reproductive treatments and also the percentage of children with birth defects is similar to that of the general population.

: a safe and effective in patients with polycystic ovaries.
Manzanares MA, Gomez Palomares JL, Acevedo-Martin B, Chavez M, Romero R, Nieto M, Ricciarelli E, Hernandez ER.
induction of ovulation with GnRH agonists followed by embryo freezing, allows patients with polycystic ovary complete IVF cycle without risk of cancellation, coasting or hyperstimulation syndrome by maintaining good pregnancy rate.
COMPARISON OF THE PREGNANCY RATES IN PATIENTS WITH MALE FACTOR FOR SELECTED IMSI: PRELIMINARY STUDY.
Authors: Marta Sánchez de Burgos, JM Cuadros Fernandez, Mark Nieto Sanchez Andres Lara, Eleuterio R. Hernández
The IMSI (morphologically selected sperm injection) is a relatively new technique that allows the selection of sperm with good morphology an increase of 6500 X, instead of 400 x as with ICSI. With this increase we are able to select and sort sperm according to the absence or presence of vacuoles. This preliminary study conducted in 2009 appears to exist in selected patients IMSI higher pregnancy rate but without significant differences.
EFFECT OF AGE OF WOMEN IN THE EMBRYO TRANSFER
Authors: Mark Nieto Sanchez, Jorge Cuadros, Marta Sánchez de Burgos; Lara Andrés Criado, Eleuterio R. Hernández. Elisabetta Ricciarelli
gestational success of the selective transfer of a single embryo (SET) is based on morphological selection of embryos with greater potential for implementation. This study analyzed pregnancy rates in women older than 38 years who were transferred embryos of the highest quality
. Pregnancy rates were lower in women over 38 years despite the apparent high quality of the embryo. We conclude that the implementation of SET in everyday clinical practice entails considering the age of the woman as the potential implantatory of embryos does not reflect embryo quality in women in that age group.

MULTICENTER STUDY ON THE PREVALENCE OF SYMPTOMS OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION IN PARTNERSHIP TO LAUNCH FIRST CYCLE OF ASSISTED REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES IN VITRO FERTILIZATION (IVF)
Authors: Agustin Moreno (Galileo Psychologists, Malaga), Vicente Gimenez (GH. Chiron, San Sebastian), Giuliana Baccino (FIVMadrid, Madrid), Montserrat Roca (GH. Chiron, Barcelona)
The aim of this study was to determine the incidence of prevalence of symptoms of anxiety or depression in couples first start a cycle of assisted reproduction using IVF.
Among the patients under study was observed a high prevalence rate of anxiety symptoms, 34%, and a much although less elevated mood symptoms, 14%. These high prevalence are in line with those obtained in previous studies and highlight the need for specific interventions before and during assisted reproduction treatment.
