Joshua McAuley, a 15-year-old died after surviving a car accident which injured his legs and abdomen after crashing into the front of a store with his car which was out of control and was driving to buy sweets. This occurred in Smetchwick, West Midlands.
Although Joshua survived the crash and remained conscious, died six hours after after losing a large amount of blood and refuse a blood transfusion at the hospital, claiming it was for reasons of their faith, Joshua Jehovah's Witness, his family, like him, are devout Jehovah's Witnesses, and therefore obedient to the "mother organization", the Watchtower Society, which has given them the belief that blood is sacred and transfusions are prohibited by the Bible.
Although the hospital staff asked him to change his mind, Joshua refused.
under Medicaid law, doctors are forced to decide if a child under 16 is competent enough to accept or reject This medical treatment without the need for parental permission, doctors at the hospital followed the law before deciding whether the boy was able to make that decision. It is not yet clear whether the boy's parents were already in the hospital at the time.
Clive Parker, an elder at the Kingdom Hall where Joshua and his family gathered said
"I think he was conscious enough after the accident and took a position on the issue of blood. He made the personal choice .
Joshua was about to make his General Certificate of Secondary Education at the Academy Shireland, and went to buy sweets while preached to the residents at 11:15 am Saturday (May 15, 2010) when the accident occurred, according to inform their friends.

is sad that at this point of Jehovah's Witnesses no longer be manipulated by "truths" that its Governing Body, said to possess exclusively:
... This organization works for the purpose Jehovah and to his praise. To it alone God's holy word, the Bible is not a sealed book ... the only organization on earth that understands the "deep things of God" ... organization ... helps us understand God's provisions ... Moreover, only this organization is provided to you "gifts in men,"
- The Watchtower, November 15, 1973, pg. 690.
And although they believe they are obeying God, look at the teachings of this organization, show the opposite:
blood ban not considered for Christians.(The Watchtower (Watchtower), April 15, 1909, p.. 4374 English.)
Even his own literature recognizes that this prohibition is relatively recent:
When were widespread whole blood transfusions, after World War II, [1945] Jehovah's Witnesses realized that they were against God's law, and so we continue to believe.- The Watchtower, June 15, 2000, pg. 29.
So, how can they say and believe that this prohibition from God [the God of life] if they admit that it was not until after World War II who "understood that transfusions were against God's law? More however, despite this still did not expel the Witnesses who received a blood transfusion, it was not until 15 years after it imposed them as "divine requirement" and standard to be met by all:
In 1961 was expelled from the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses anyone overlook this divine requirement , accept blood transfusions and manifest an unrepentant attitude. At first, in the publications of the Watch Tower were not analyzed the side effects of blood transfusions. Then, when that information was available, should be released, not as the reason that Jehovah's Witnesses reject blood transfusions, but in order to strengthen their understanding of God ban was imposed on the use of blood .- Proclaimers, pg. 183-184.

How long will it continue to die for changing guidelines imperfect men?
