With the death of Rutherford, and because the much heralded Armageddon still unaccounted for, a new leader emerged from the group, fortunately, the organization had Rutherford made was strong and unquestionable loyalty to the organization, no matter who was elected president. More changes had to be made, and again, all traces of the literature of Rutherford, had to be removed (while retaining some of his teachings, while others had to be irrevocably changed) and others, such as the resurrection of patriarchs in the near future, discarded. And of course, new courses were also "revealed" and put into practice.
Although the new president was not as charismatic as Russell and Rutherford, he managed to compensate for his lack of charisma boosting the business of the organization, making it a colossal business, real estate properties and notarized on behalf of the Society in hundreds of countries, earnings rose incredibly, which, "only covered the cost of printing."
